A little bit about me and this website. I am a husband, dog lover, photographer, and mac enthusiast living in West Texas Redmond, Washington Portland Oregon. In the last ten years I have moved 19 times. If you don’t believe me, see below.

Ants4pets.com was officially established in late October of 2001; at the height of what some consider the blogger revolution. Over the last several years this site has had many face, tested a variety of Content Management Systems (Blogger, Graymatter, Movable Type, Wordpress), and used a number of hosting companies. Currently Ants4pets.com uses a heavily modified version of the K2 theme for Wordpress and is hosted by Liquidweb.

There are no professional photographers here but I do try my best to capture what I see through the lens and share it here with you. Photos are taken in the RAW format using a Canon Digital Rebel XTi with a variety of lenses. They are post processed either in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop CS2, or Aperture 2.0. I use Flickr for photo hosting and backup.
